About Us

My name is Gary Goodspeed.  My brother Mark and I started Answer the Need in September of 2011.

Answer the Need is moving forward with a mission that God placed on our hearts. We are praying that we are truly listening to what God would have us do to bring this ministry to the world by starting here in the United States.

As our song and video say, we are Christians just the same.  Although there will continue to be the persecuted and poor until Christ's return, we all need to work to help those who truly have to fight for their faith.

You may ask, "So why then are you trying to educate people and bring about change if we can't eliminate persecution?"  Christ said there will always be the poor among you.  That is true about persecution in its harshest forms as well.  Christ was for helping the poor and persecuted; He didn't say don't try.  What relief we can provide to those who have to fight for their faith, and those who are impoverished because of their faith, will make all the difference in the world.

It will make a difference not only to the people affected, but to the world at large, as they view what our God can do for His believers.  Seeing that kind of love and support could alone prove to be the difference between someone staying with their beliefsystem and going to hell, or coming to Christ because they can see there is only one true God who lives and loves.
