Huddled and Hurting Project

Huddled and Hurting Project seemed to be an appropriate title for the consciousness we are trying to raise regarding Christian persecution.  Please go to the Huddled and Hurting Project page for details on how you can set up this much-needed mission in your church or Christian organization. There is no need to stretch existing tithes and offerings in order to set up your own Huddled and Hurting Project.

Answer the Need’s Mission

Because of the ongoing worldwide persecution, this website was created with the following objectives:

1. To open the eyes of the church to Christian persecution around the world. This includes naming names, and sharing the stories and graphics that are necessary for all of us to ask, "What if this were happening to me and my family?"
   

2. To show through Scripture how the Apostle Paul established the practice of supporting persecuted and poor Christians. To begin learning more about Paul's directive, the How Scripture Opened Our Eyes section would be a good place to start.
   

3. To demonstrate to churches and Christian organizations that their members can meet the Biblical directive of ministering to persecuted Christians through our Huddled and Hurting Project.  A FREE program whereby the congregation, or parishioners can either place their donations into the Huddled and Hurting collection box, or send them directly to one or more of the Organizations listed on this website. 
   

As with any ministry, organizations somewhere need to receive support in order to keep the mission alive.  Answer the Need does not ask you to send us donations.  Why send money to us, when you can send it directly to organizations that best know how to utilize the funds.  If you currently support missionaries that are suffering under persecution, the Huddled and Hurting Project can supply additional funding for those efforts.

But what if you don't have a missionary with that kind of need? We have you covered there too.  On our Organizations page, we list Christian groups that are dedicated to reaching out and helping the Christians in the countries where persecution is running rampant.

We are in no way affiliated with these organizations, nor have in place any type of kick-back program for referring people to them.
